The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rose 54-point-16 points, or two-point-12 percent, on Friday, ending the week at two-thousand-604-point-24.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining 19-point-42 points, or two-point-33 percent, to close at 853-point-08.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened four-point-four won against the dollar, ending the week at one-thousand-284-point-two won.
