The tech-heavy KOSDAQ fell however, losing zero-point-06 points, or zero-point-01 percent, to close at 789-point-69.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened zero-point-seven won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-313-point-seven won.
