The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) fell 15-point-36 points, or zero-point-61 percent, on Friday, closing the week at two-thousand-492-point-69.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also fell, losing 11-point-89 points, or one-point-44 percent, to close at 814-point-17. 

On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened five-point-two won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-325-point-nine won.
