The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rose seven-point-82 points, or zero-point-33 percent, on Thursday, closing the day at two-thousand-384-point-28.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining nine-point-62 points, or one-point-25 percent, to close at 777-point-81.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened three-point-four won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-380-point-eight won.
