The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) fell 19-point-05 points, or zero-point-79 percent, on Friday, closing the week at two-thousand-382-point-78.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also fell, losing eleven-point-34 points, or one-point-45 percent, to close at 770-point-04.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened five-point-seven won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-388 won.
