The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) jumped 23-point-seven points, or zero-point-97 percent, on Friday, to close the week at two-thousand-476-point-86.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ fell, however, losing two-point-96 points, or zero-point-35 percent, to close at 847-point-52.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened two-point-nine won against the U.S. dollar, closing the day at one-thousand-301-point-nine won.
