New COVID-19 Cases at 13,529

New daily COVID-19 cases registered in the 13-thousands on Tuesday.

The Central Disease Control Headquarters said that 13-thousand-529 infections were reported throughout Monday, including 19 from overseas, bringing the total caseload to over 31 million-679-thousand.

The figure dropped by some 66-hundred from a day ago. It also decreased by about 78-hundred from a week ago and by over ten-thousand from two weeks ago due to fewer tests over the weekend and Monday, a substitute holiday for Buddha's Birthday.

The daily average for the past week was tallied at 15-thousand-697. 

The number of hospitalized patients in intensive care rose by six from a day ago to 176.

The death toll climbed by seven to stand at 34-thousand-767, with the overall fatality rate remaining at zero-point-11 percent.
