The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) jumped 30-point-31 points, or one-point-16 percent, on Friday, to close the week at two-thousand-641-point-16.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, climbing seven-point-58 points, or zero-point-87 percent, to close at 883-point-71.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened 12-point-two won against the U.S. dollar, closing the day at one-thousand-291-point-five won.
