The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) ended up 34-point-71 points, or one-point-48 percent, on Monday to close at two-thousand-386-point-38.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining five-point-13 points, or point-60 percent, to close at 862-point-76.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened point-nine won against the U.S. dollar, ending the session at one-thousand-185-point-six won.
