Howdy, Lena. Due to time zone challenges, I don't get to write in as much as I would like. Nevertheless, I want to write today because I just heard on the OFD podcast that my friend recently won the Best Innovation Award. She rocks! 

Although Pei Wern was stoic at work, if you know her personally, she is actually a kind-hearted person. She had gone out of her way so many times to help me and others whenever we needed help at work. A few years back, when my wife went into labor suddenly and I had a major deployment to roll out at the same time, I was at my wit's end, not knowing what to do. Pei Wern called me and told me to attend to my wife and she took over the deployment work from me so that I could attend to my wife with peace of mind. As you know, she's from Malaysia, but the deployment was in Houston. She didn't sleep the whole night just to help me! I am forever grateful to her. 

When I heard she won the award, I was so happy for her. I also broadcast her interview at KPC to our friends because I was proud of her. It was hilarious to hear that she "complained" to you. Hey buddy, congrats on your recent achievement!
