Presidential Candidates' KBS TV Debate in Standing Format

The second TV debate among the major presidential candidates slated for Wednesday night will be held in an unprecedented standing format.

The five key candidates will participate in the second TV debate that will kick off in the headquarters of KBS in Yeouido, Seoul at ten p.m.

Unlike the first TV debate held last Thursday, the second debate will be held in a format where every candidate will stand while making their cases about why they should be the president without the help of scripts.

It is expected the two leading candidates, Moon Jae-in of the Democratic Party and Ahn Cheol-soo of the People’s Party, will clash strongly against each other, questioning each other's political ability, leadership and philosophy on national affairs.

The other participants in the debate are Hong Joon-pyo of the Liberty Korea Party, Yoo Seong-min of the Bareun Party and Sim Sang-jung of the Justice Party.
