The world has been calling Korea an Internet superpower since the early 21st century. Measuring up to the nickname, Korea boasts of many world’s bests and firsts. But Korea was a late starter in Internet development. In fact, it was back in 1994 when Koreans started exploring cyber space through the Internet. In less than two decades, however, the Internet in Korea evolved at dizzying speeds and completely revolutionized our lives. And even 21 years after the introduction of the Internet in Korea, Korea keeps pioneering new Internet frontiers and leading the IT revolution.
