U.S. Visa-Waiver Talks to Restart Tuesday
A bilateral working group of the government and the United States will hold Tuesday the sixth round of talks on South Korea's inclusion in the American visa-waiver program.
A Foreign Ministry official said Monday that the meeting's agenda will include discussion on the plan for the waiver, electronic passports and bilateral judicial cooperation.
Seoul presented the initial draft of its waiver plan in the last round of talks in December last year.
Entry into the program requires a visa rejection rate of below three percent, electronic biometric passports and bilateral cooperation in legal matters.
South Korea's visa rejection rate is three percent.
