Recovering Opposition Leader Thanks People
Main opposition leader Park Geun-hye has thanked the people for their concern on her recent slash attack.
Her chief secretary Yoo Jeong-bok said in a Monday news conference at Yonsei Severance Hospital in Seoul that Park is in good condition and recovering.
Park received more than 60 stitches on the right side of her face and will remain hospitalized for a week.
She also asked her party's leaders who visited the hospital to continue campaigning for the May 31st local elections as scheduled.
