Seoul Denies Report on NK's Wartime Mobilization
A Seoul official has denied a report that North Korean leader Kim Jong-il ordered a wartime mobilization on Sunday for armed forces and citizens.
The official said Wednesday that Pyongyang had put its military on alert to step up vigilance before its missiles launches on July 5th, but that an order for a wartime mobilization was not made.
The official added that the alert might have been related to the launches but ongoing military training had also started early this month.
