United New Democratic Party’s candidate Chung Dong-young touted his slogan, “Good Economy, Good President” in Seoul and its suburbs. On Saturday morning, Chung talked to hikers at the mouth of Mount Dobong. Then, he went electioneering at suburban transit stations in Anyang, Sanbon and Suwon.

Grand National Party’s Lee Myung-bak roamed around Gyeongsang Province, stressing that he would revive the economy. He made efforts to appeal to Buddhists, starting his day at a Buddhist temple in Yangsan and attending a Buddhist service in Masan.

Back in Seoul, independent runner Lee Hoi-chang visited a senior citizen living alone and pledged state support for the helpless elderly. Later in the afternoon, he reached out to voters in Gyeonggi Province.

Democratic Labor Party’s Kwon Young-ghil stumped Hoengseong, Gangwon Province. He said he would do his best to block the Korea-U.S. Free Trade Agreement and promote Korean agricultural products such as Hoengseong's beef.

Meanwhile, Democratic Party’s Rhee In-je beat his way across his home ground, Jeolla Province.

Moon Kook-hyun of the Renewal of Korea Party met young voters at a park in Seoul, pledging to resolve unemployment and realize clean politics.
