First-Term UNDP Lawmakers Urge Reform
First-term lawmakers of the United New Democratic Party (UNDP) say they'll continue party reform efforts through signature collection campaigns and public hearings.
After a meeting of 19 first-term lawmakers Thursday, lawmaker Moon Byung-ho told a news briefing that reform-minded lawmakers will hold workshops to collect opinions and forge a consensus within the party.
Moon also urged senior lawmakers who served as Cabinet ministers, party chairs and floor leaders to step down to aid reform efforts.
