S.Korea, US to Hold Security Meeting

South Korea and the United States will coordinate policies in a joint security meeting to better tackle threats posed by North Korea.

The two will hold the 26th Security Policy Initiative meeting in Seoul on Monday.

The top agenda for the meeting will be the North’s suspected preparations for a missile launch and possible provocations near the Northern Limit Line in the Yellow Sea.

They will also discuss in detail the transfer of wartime operational control to Seoul scheduled for 2012 and the sharing of costs for the relocation of U.S. bases in Korea.
