Ex-Pres. Kim in Stable Condition
Former President Kim Dae-jung, currently in the hospital for treatment for pneumonia, is in stable condition.
Kim’s secretary, Choi Kyeong-hwan, told reporters that test results and X-rays of the former president show no signs of his condition worsening.
The 85-year old Kim was hospitalized over a month ago at Yonsei Severance Hospital in Seoul.
Meanwhile, former First Lady Lee Hee-ho and Kim's other family members held a quiet ceremony to pray for his speedy recovery.
On Thursday morning, the head of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhists, the Most Venerable Jigwan, paid a visit to the former president, as did British Ambassador to Seoul Martin Uden.
