Financial information provider FnGuide says domestic companies are predicted to post record earnings next year.

FnGuide says the country's top 100 companies will earn nearly 63 trillion won in operating profit next year, up 37 percent from this year.

Factors to fuel the rise in profit include faster-than-expected economic recovery, bullish exports and lower interest rates, which reduce the financial burden on companies.

Samsung Electronics is expected to record the largest operating profit of eight-point-seven trillion won, followed by steelmaker POSCO with four-point-seven trillion won and Hyundai Heavy Industries three trillion won.
