Hwang's Fan Club Delivers Ova Pledges
An online fan club of cloning pioneer Hwang Woo-suk on Tuesday delivered pledges from 1,000 women wishing to donate their ova for his research.
Some 100 members of the group "I Love Hwang Woo-suk" visited his office at Seoul National University and each put a flower on his desk to wish for his prompt return.
Group leader Ahn Deok-jin said the event represents public support for stem cell research, and that members will continue to root for Hwang's efforts for humanity to find cures to terminal diseases.
