Film Director Park Wins Award in Berlin
Director Park Chan-wook's "I'm a Cyborg, But That's OK" has won the Alfred Bauer Prize for science fiction comedy at the Berlin International Film Festival.
The award is named after a famous German director of photography and is one of the festival's eight major awards given for opening up a new perspective in cinematic art.
Director Park's movie is a love story about two mental patients.
The festival's top prize went to Chinese director Wang Quan'an's "Tuya's Marriage."
U.S.-born Israeli Joseph Cedar won best director for "Beaufort."
The best actor award went to Julio Chavez of Argentina and best actress to Nina Hoss of Germany.
