'Taliban to Free 3-4 Hostages After Face-to-Face Talks'
U.S. broadcaster CBS has reported that the Taliban will release three or four more hostages, likely female, after the next round of face-to-face talks with South Korean government officials.
According to the network, a senior Taliban commander also said that the remaining hostages will be released in small groups in the coming weeks.
The commander added that a South Korean-led delegation of Muslim clerics in Pakistan will be allowed to attend the talks as a goodwill gesture to Muslims in South Korea.
The talks reportedly slated for Tuesday afternoon Korean time are the fourth round of face-to-face negotiations since the original group of 23 church workers was taken hostage July 19th.
