Dubai Crude Oil Prices Hit All-Time Highs

Dubai crude oil prices have hit fresh all-time highs for four days in a row.

At the Dubai spot market, the Middle Eastern crude was traded at 76 dollars seven cents per barrel on Friday, up 98 cents from the previous day. The Dubai crude oil has set new highs for the fourth day after hitting 74 dollars 12 cents on Tuesday.

In London, the price of Brent North Sea crude for November delivery surged as high as 79 dollars 35 cents per barrel, beating Thursday's record on fears a storm could threaten energy facilities in the U.S. Gulf Coast.

New York's main futures contract, light sweet crude for delivery in November, eased 21 cents to 81 dollars 57 cents per barrel on Friday.

An analyst at Barclays Capital said that prices are setting fresh records owing to the evacuation of oil rigs and platforms in the US Gulf of Mexico.
