Special Probe Team Raids Samsung Head’s Office
A special investigative team has raided the offices and homes of Samsung Group Chairman Lee Kun-hee and key company executives.
The raids ordered by independent counsel Cho Joon-woong were conducted at eight sites including Lee's office Seungjiwon. Investigators also searched the houses of Samsung Vice Chairman Lee Hak-soo, former restructuring chief Kim In-joo and five other key officials.
Fifty investigators combed through the Samsung chairman's office from 8:30 a.m. Monday.
