Raid Shocks Samsung
The Samsung Group is apparently shocked after a raid on the office of its chairman by a team of special investigators.
Samsung appears to view Monday's raid on its corporate nerve center as the start of the independent probe into the group's alleged slush funds.
Located near the home of Samsung Chairman Lee Kun-hee, the office “Seungjiwon” comprises two traditional Korean-style buildings. The main building is for the chairman and the annex is for his staff.
