Astronaut Yi Released from Hospital
The nation’s first astronaut Yi Soyeon has been released from an Air Force hospital.
Yi had received treatment for severe back pain the past two weeks after a rough landing on her return from space.
She looked healthy when she left the hospital on Wednesday. She then visited her alma mater, Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, and met university President Suh Nam-pyo.
Afterwards, she reported to work at the Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI) and submitted research data she collected in space.
