KITA Invites Major Foreign Buyers to Korea

The Korea International Trade Association has invited overseas buyers to Korea in a bid to promote the exports of domestic small businesses.

The trade agency said Friday, the 45th anniversary of the nation’s Trade Day, that it invited 18 promising buyers from 13 countries, including Japan, Germany and Britain.

The agency said it will organize consultations between foreign buyers and Korean exporters and will arrange tours of related plants.

In particular, the agency invited a large number of Japanese buyers this year to support Korean companies’ efforts to make headway into the Japanese market.

The invited buyers will also tour major cultural sites in the capital.
