Korean Hostages Return Home
Five South Korean crew members of a cargo ship that was hijacked by Somali pirates in November have returned home from the African country after three months in captivity. They were released on February 13th.
The Panama-registered Chemstar Venus, owned by a Japanese shipping firm, was seized in the Gulf of Aden near Somalia on November 15th last year with 23 crew members aboard --- five Koreans and 18 Filipinos.
The released Korean sailors arrived in South Korea at 3:30 p.m. Monday.
