Strategy and Finance Minister Yoon Jeung-hyun is asking business companies to increase employment and investment.

In a meeting with the heads of business organizations, including the Federation of Korean Industries, Yoon promised enhanced government support for business companies looking to expand employment and investments.

He also said the government will push ahead with deregulations to facilitate business activities.

He also promised a two-track policy for small and medium-sized firms in which viable ones will receive government support while nonviable ones will be subject to restructuring.

The business chiefs asked the government to allow local companies to take part in state-administered social overhead capital projects.
