Visitors Flocking to Han River Parks

Newly opened Han River parks have attracted more than one million people during the first week and a half of this month.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government said that more than one million people visited four new parks near the Han River from October first to the eleventh.

The Han River parks are part of the city government’s multistage project to revamp areas along the river.

Banpo Han River Park opened in April, followed by the parks in Yeouido, Nanji and Ttukseom in September.

Nearly 106-thousand people on average are visiting the Han River parks each day.
