Agriculture Ministry to Promote Korean Food during Rio Olympics

The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs plans to promote Korean food in Brazil during the Rio Olympics.
Between Saturday and August 21st, it will set up a Korean food promotion booth at Copacabana beach in Rio de Janeiro. The booth, named "Taste of Korea," will introduce Korean drinks and foods such as ginseng, kimchi, makgeolli, citron tea and bulgogi to Brazilians and tourists. The booth will be situated in the promotion space for the Pyeongchang Winter Games.
The ministry will also operate a Korean food truck and hand out K-food gift sets.
In addition, the ministry will open Korean food shops on two local online shopping malls during the month of August.
