After establishing itself as one of Korea's most successful dramas of all time, "Winter Sonata" will soon be releasing a sequel.

Many of the key staff for the classic drama, starring Bae Yong-joon and Choi Ji-woo, are said to reuniting for the upcoming work. According to the head of "Winter Sonata's" production company, Pen Entertainment, the writers (Yoon Eun-kyung, Kim Eun-hee) and the producer (Yoon Suk-ho) will be returning to work on the sequel. That would make it 13 years since this combination worked together.

The writers are said to be in the middle of pitching their storyline and writing the synopsis right now. If all goes well, the synopsis should be out next month.
