Biography: 

Taeyeon, born Kim Tae-yeon, is a South Korean singer and member of the popular girl group Girls’ Generation. She debuted as a member of the group in 2007 and has since risen to prominence due to the group’s success in the Asian music scene. She has also participated in SM Entertainment projects, including GIrls Generation-TTS, SM the Ballad, Girls’ Generation-Oh!GG, and the supergroup Got the Beat. Taeyeon began her solo career in 2015 with the release of her debut EP “I”. Having sold over one million physical albums and 20 million digital singles as of 2021, Taeyeon is one of the best-selling solo artists in Korea.
