The film “Miss Granny,” directed by Hwang Dong-hyuk, will be adapted into a KBS drama and premiere next month.

KBS announced Tuesday that the drama will air under the same title as a Wednesday-Thursday series.

The film, released in 2014, attracted eight-point-six million viewers.

The plot involves a 74-year-old Oh Mal-soon who suddenly transforms into a 20-year-old Oh Doo-ri and gets a second chance at youth.

The TV adaptation will be directed by Park Yong-soon, known for popular dramas such as “Wanted” and “Secret Mother,” and written by Heo Seung-min, known for “Risky Romance.”
