The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) fell 18-point-59 points, or point-79 percent, on Thursday to close at two-thousand-326-point-67.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ rose however, gaining seven-point-73 points, or point-96 percent, to close at 813-point-93.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened point-eight won against the dollar, ending the session at one-thousand-131-point-four won.
