The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rose 39-point-12 points, or one-point-29 percent, on Wednesday to close at three-thousand-82-point-99.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining seven-point-63 points, or zero-point-83 percent, to close at 930-po​int-80.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened three-point-seven won against the dollar, ending the session at one-thousand-120-point-three won.
