South Korea's state audit agency has concluded that there were no procedural problems in the Moon Jae-in administration's adoption of its nuclear phase-out energy policy.

In announcing the outcome of its inspection on Friday, the Board of Audit and Inspection(BAI) said it found no unlawful acts or procedural faults in its legal review of six parts of the government's phase-out road map.

The inspection was launched after 547 people, including former main opposition People Power Party(PPP) Rep. Jeong Kab-yoon, filed for a BAI review in June 2019, claiming violations in revising the state energy plan.

The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy had denied there were any legal problems.
