BLACKPINK has become the most followed artist on YouTube.

Some 65-point-two million people were subscribed to the South Korean girl group’s official YouTube channel as of Friday afternoon, surpassing Justin Bieber, who had been the most subscribed singer for the past 25 months. The 27-year-old Canadian singer has 65-point-one million subscribers.

BLACKPINK dethroned Ariana Grande as the most subscribed female artist in July last year and became the No. 5 artist in the category for men and women, before catching up with Eminem, Ed Sheeran and DJ Marshmello.

In April, the quartet became the first female artist to attract 60 million YouTube subscribers.

BLACKPINK achieved the feat a little over five years after its YouTube channel was launched.
