The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) fell five-point-eight points, or zero-point-19 percent on Thursday, closing the day at three-thousand-seven-point-33.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also fell, losing seven-point-92 points, or zero-point-79 percent, to close at 993-point-seven.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened three won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-177-point-two won.
