The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rose 27-point-77 points, or zero-point-93 percent, on Thursday, closing the day at three-thousand-29-point-57.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining 16-point-83 points, or one-point-67 percent, to close at one-thousand-22-point-87.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened one-point-four won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-174-point-five won.
