The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) shed six-point-84 points, or zero-point-27 percent, on Friday to close the week at two-thousand-508-point-13.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also fell, dropping three-point-33 points, or zero-point-39 percent, to close at 857-point-35.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened two-point-nine won against the U.S. dollar, closing the day at one-thousand-336-point-eight won.
