The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) fell one-point-17 points, or zero-point-04 percent, on Friday, closing the week at three-thousand-six-point-16.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ rose, however, gaining one-point-37 points, or zero-point-14 percent, to close at 995-point-07.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened zero-point-one won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-177-point-one won.
