Military Maintaining Usual Level of Readiness

The Defense Ministry says it has detected no particular movements from North Korea’s military after U.S. President Donald Trump canceled the Washington-Pyongyang summit.
The ministry and the Joint Chiefs of Staff are said to be maintaining their usual level of preparedness and operating a crisis response team with minimum personnel to promptly respond to any contingencies.
An official said that the military is calmly and stably observing situations and maintaining an appropriate level of defense readiness.
The North’s military, on its part, is said to be making preparations for its summer exercises that begin from July.
