Key N. Korean Official Gets on New York-bound Flight

Kim Yong-chol, vice chairman of the Central Committee of the ruling Workers' Party, was confirmed to have gotten on an Air China flight to New York on Wednesday.
According to sources in Beijing, Kim and his delegation got on a one p.m. flight bound for New York on Wednesday, a day after arriving at Beijing Capital International Airport aboard an Air Koryo flight.
Upon arriving in New York, Kim will likely fine-tune views with U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on what will be discussed at the planned U.S.-North Korea summit.
The State Department had earlier announced that Pompeo plans to make a two-day trip to New York starting Wednesday.
