White House: Trump to Tell Kim His Stance on Kim-Putin Summit
The White House says U.S. President Donald Trump will deliver his stance on the prospective summit between North Korea and Russia when he meets with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un next week.
Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said in a media briefing on Monday that Trump will make his views known directly to Kim during their summit in Singapore.
Last Friday, Trump said he “did not like” the meeting between Kim and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, who visited Pyongyang last week.
Lavrov was known to have agreed with Kim to arrange a summit between Kim and Russian President Vladimir Putin within this year.
