South Korea failed to win a medal in women's volleyball at the Tokyo Olympics.
Team Korea lost to the world's sixth-ranked Serbia 3-0 in the bronze medal match at Ariake Arena in Tokyo on Sunday, the last day of the Olympics.
South Korea finished fourth as in the London Olympics in 2012.
The women's team, led by Captain Kim Yeon-koung, had sought to earn a medal in the sport for the first time since the 1976 Montreal Olympics, when it won bronze.
South Korea wrapped up its competition at the Tokyo Olympics with six gold medals, four silver and ten bronze.
