- Swimmer Park to Compete 7 Events at Asian Games

South Korean swimming star Park Tae-hwan is aiming to grab gold medals in seven events at the 2010 Asian Games that open Friday in Guangzhou, China.
Park will compete in the men’s 100-, 200-, 400- and 15-hundred-meter freestyle events, the 4X100- and 4X200-meter freestyle relay, as well as the 4X100-meter medley relay.
Four years ago in the 15th Asian Games in Doha, Qatar, Park was named the most valuable player after grabbing three gold, one silver and three bronze medals while setting two Asian Games records. He won the gold in the 200-, 400- and 15-hundred meter freestyle events.
