- Park Wins 200M Freestyle setting Asia Record

Swimmer Park Tae-hwan won a gold medal in the men’s 200-meter freestyle on Sunday at the Asian Games in Guangzhou, China.
The 21-year-old won the race with an Asian record of one minute, 44.80 seconds.
Park’s rival Sun Yang of China came in 1.45 seconds later to win the silver. Japan’s Takeshi Matsuda took the bronze.
Park had won gold in the same event in the 2006 Asian Games in Doha.
He won three gold medals in total in the Doha games.
