South Korea Adds 9 Golds in Golf, Bowling, Cycling, Fencing
Ninth day into the Guangzhou Asian Games, South Korea added nine more gold medals in golf, bowling, cycling and fencing.

South Korean golf teams won both men and women's individual and team titles, garnering all four golds for the second straight Asian Games.

Kim Meen-whee and Kim Hyun-soo each won two gold medals, winning both individual and team titles.

As for cycling, Choe Hyeong-min won a gold in men's cycling individual time trial, and Lee Min-hye also won another gold in women's individual time trial race.

In the men's trios in bowling two South Korean teams competed against each other. The trio made up of Choi Bok-eum, Choi Yong-kyu and Jang Dong-chul won a gold medal, while Hong Hae-sol, Cho Young-seon and Suh Sang-cheon won a silver.

Ha Jee-min won the men's sailing laser race gold medal. Choi Byung-chul brought the nation the last gold medal of the day in men's individual foil in fencing, beating out Hong Kong's Cheung Siu Lun 15-14.

A South Korean teenage archer Kim Woo-jin set a new world record in the men's archery preliminary round, earning 1,387 points.

Currently, South Korea is ranked 2nd with 52 gold, 43 silver, and 56 bronze medals after host China.
